I am a DONA trained (almost certified) doula who has been practicing since 2014. After I graduated with my PhD in Medical Anthropology and Masters in Public Health from Case Western Reserve University, I found that I wanted to make a practical difference in the lives of women going through one of the most momentous times of their lives. We have had several friends go through the adoption process, and it was through their experiences that I became interested in becoming an adoption doula. I have loved reading the Adoption Doula Handbook, and can’t wait to help parents on this amazing journey!
